98 c70 heater core bypass

Post by pfran6078 »

I thought the heater core was leaking i set up a bypass to that. I drove around for two days then noticed my carpets wet again.are there any other hoses i missed. I guess it wasnt the core itself after all

There is a drain in the bottom of the casing that houses the evaporator. This often becomes blocked, water collects in the casing and eventually spills out onto the carpet.

From memory the drain passes through the floor on the C70, but my memory isn't what it used to be. Other models the drain goes through the bulkhead (firewall).

Bill.

Edit: It does go through the floor. Now what else was I going to do? :?
