v70xc/2001/ srs warning light

My 2001 v70xc srs message warning came on and my wife is afraid the airbags are going to deploy. The message does say urgent. Is there a real problem. Happy New Year! Dodo

You can easily do a "Search" on this forum to see what others have to say on the topic. I suggest taking it to the dealership to determine what caused the fault message and let them repair/reset your SRS.

Had the same on my xc70 awd and was told by Volvo dealer to diconnect the battery to clear all codes. Apparently when you brake hard (what happened to me ) the system "starts to arm" for a potential accident.
My code has not come back again. Regards Hans
