Engine hesitates with cruise control active

Can the cruise control attribute to some very very slight hesitations on the interstate...only when I come back from Indianapolis (gas tank is half full and car sat for 4 days) and I start driving on the interstate (coolant at temperature) the engine has the tendency to hesitate (very subtle) in the first 30 minutes of a 4 hour drive when engaged with the cruise control (none noted when using the pedal manually).

Just wondering and trying to understand the situation.
