The Volvo AOC unit requires fluid PN 1161641, which is expensive.
The transfer case fluid PN 1161648: some people simply use Redline 75W90 fluid, which is basically GL-5 synthetic fluid.
Now, if you go to any Volvo dealer website and enter PN 1161641, it is cross-referenced to PN 1161648, which is also cross-referenced to PN 31325136.
If this is true, the logic tells me that one can use Redline 75W90 fluid in the AOC?
