V70 2.4 2002 Rear Washer doesnt work.

My rear washer has stopped working since all the frost and snow we have been having, the front ones work but when i engage the rear washer the wiper works but no fluid, the resevoir is full and i have cleaned the nozzle????

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Can you hear the pump running when you use the rear wash? If not check the pump. If you can hear it, check the pipe connections from front to back. If the system has been frozen it could have pushed a pipe off.

There is also a non-return valve immediately beneath the nozzle which could have jammed.

thanks for the reply, how do i get to the non return valve, have i got to take the rear door lining off to get to it, and how do i un jam it if this is the problem.

Floydyboy,
Start with the fuse panel first.
Just had my rear window with same symptoms. Fuse was blown!
