mount to engine stand, what bolts?

I'm pulling the engine from an '02 v40 today and I can't find any info about the size and length of the bolts I'm going to need to mount the engine on a stand. Also, is there an acceptable generic substitute (available at a brick and mortar store) for the Volvo-brand drain plugs that go in where the halfshafts come out?
