2000 S80 2.9 o2 question

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

2000 S80 2.9 o2 question

Post by asummers »

I have a 2000 S80 with the 2.9 non-turbo. I am looking at Vadis to see how to change the front o2 sensors. After taking a look at my car, I think my o2 sensors are not where Vadis shows. I think they are located right at the heat shield that is on top of the exhaust manifolds. (see pic) Does that look like the o2 sensor to anyone else? There is one just like it on the other side pipe.

Yes, that is one of them. The other is on the other side. Remember to remove the driver side tire to gain easier access to the connectors.
