radio control buttons

My radio/dvd buttons do not work at all. The knobs work but none of the push in buttons fuction at all, nor do the radio control buttons on the steering wheel.

I've heard that for the steering wheel controls, often a good reset of the car's electrical systems will get them working again. Pull off your negative battery cable for 20 minutes or so, and then reconnect it. Older Volvo stereos have a radio code that has to be entered upon reconnecting - I don't know if the new ones have this or not.
