Car had an idle problem, would start, but would die as soon as you completely released the gas pedal. Code car was giving led me to replace the Idle Control valve. The car had the same issue after replacing. Well then , The ecm threw codes stating that it was bad. Replaced unit. Then the code it threw was "P04445". This , I was told, is the evaportive emission purge control valve.It appearently has a short. What I was want to know is if this sounds like I'm just chasing "ghosts" or if anyone else has gone through this before me.
