2001 V70 sunroof jamed

Post by MrB »

The headliner that slides over the sunroof seems to be off its track, and has caused a malfunctioning in the opperation of the sunroof. How do I repair this? It appears a small spring has been bent, causing the pannel to stick. Is it possable to move the glass back while keeping the shade forward. or do I need to remove the entire headliner.
Thanks

Mine did the same thing! The bent piece has started shaving off plastic from the apron molding, so I just dont mess with it as much as possible.

I would also really like to know what the solution is, and hope its a DIY fix!

Worked for me. Be careful popping the top of the "modesty panels" out of the track. Job requires a T25 Torx driver.
