car wont start

does anybody have any ideas why an 05 s40 wont start. my messages read brake failure power steering fluid low, immobilizer.

Do you have more than one ignition key on the key ring? This could interfere with the immobilizer.

i took my car back to the dealer and they said there was something wrong with the ignition. they fixed that problem and said it still wont start. it needs updates on the computer and trying to charge me 160 bucks to do that. does anyone know if the updates can be done at any auto parts store or anywhere else.

Have you tried the Battery and cables. I ahev the same Problem. What is the immobilizer? Is that the symbol with the x through the car???
