hiccup while driving

Post by jaymeandlos »

I have a 2001 XC70 AWD. It has a hiccup while I drive it. I changed the plugs and changed the fuel filter

If the hiccup is engine related then I would clean your MAF sensor or possibly get it replaced and replace your air filter if it is dirty; if that doesn't help start doing some research on the ETM, might be on its way out. If the problem is with the transmission then I would recommend a drain and fill of the ATF.

Really hard to diagnose "a hiccup"!
Try to be a little more descriptive beyond a hiccup (which says nothing to me).
Mod note. Jim passed away in early 2022, his contributions to this forum are immortal, and he is missed. RIP
