94 940 sudden loss of pwr windows and headlights fuses good

Replaced fan resistor behind glove box ---Lost use of pwr windows,
headlights and tachometer, radio lost code and some dash lights
staying on, High beam, left and right blinker. I just bought this car
a week ago and it has been 100% perfect. I don't see any broken
wires behind glove box or anything unplugged. All fuses are good
and engine starts. The computer is located behind the kick panel
that I removed but I don"t think I touched it when I removed the
panel. Are volvo's haunted? By the way the fan works fine now
I have no books in this car so any help you could give me would
be great. thanks bob
