New V70 owner.

Post by si »

Just bought into V70 ownership. Really nice car, but I have a question on the engine characteristics. Its a 2.4 (170bhp) manual '00 (last of the old shape). As I slow down, either braking or out of gear, the revs fall to about 300rpm until I stop, when the revs pick up back to around 900rpm. This becomes a pain when parking etc. Is this normal or indicative of some fault? I presume that it is normal behaviour as there is an indicator on the rev counter at about 300rpm.
