1999 V70 New owner, intermittent crank no start

Hi all. New here with newly purchased '99 non-turbo V70. 130k kms. Occasionally it will just crank and not start. Seems to be affected by how hard I push in on the key while cranking. Did a bit if reading and it appears that it could be either the ignition switch or the immobilizer ring. Just wondering which is the most likely culprit, or maybe it's something else? Thanks!
