I may not be real active in posting, but I do a bit of research here before any work on my car.
I have a '95 850 GLT sedan, and love this car.
It is mechanically sound, but in need of some TLC in appearance and such.
It has alot (well, almost all) of quirks that volvos have.
I, am in no way, a mechanic.
You guys have helped me do the following:
replace the dash board (the top piece only)
replace the sunroof glass
replace the passenger lower control arm
replace the passenger CV axle
replace my clove compartment door (the latch broke, and i had to use a hacksaw)
install the spoiler (i got from a dead one at a junk yard for 14 bucks)

tomorrow, i replace my brake pads.

after that, I have to replace the driver CV axle, heater core, repair the driver's door window frame, repair the loose dashboard, and a few other things.
all the info available here.
free of charge.

you guys rock!
thanks to all.

We're glad the forum has been useful for you...I know it has been for me too when I've got something that stumps me.

And you do your searching. I like that. Smart man

Without this forum, my car would be in a junkyard. I've literally done thousands of dollars worth of repairs for mere hundreds, and it's such a good feeling!

Glad you're getting use out of everything! This place is great!
