volvo 850 GLT

I have 1997 Volvo 850 GLT. I just brought the car and want to start upgrading. As I noticed most upgrades are for turbo models. I thought the 850 GLT was liter turbo? I believe my engine 5254t , 190hp model is this a turbo setup and if so what upgrades can I do?

nah... GLT's are n/a cars ever since they were offered. I've got a 95 GLT myself, non turbo. in 95 I think the designation for turbo on the 97 models was 850R.. check the 850/s/v/c70 page on this site.

Sorry, '97 GLT has got the little turbo. I believe an IPD chip will add about 50 hp.
