My Seats Are "Chipping"

My Seats Are "Chipping"

My 98 s70 has black leather seats. I've been treating them monthly with armour-all leather care. It's been great--no rips, chaffing, etc.

however, i've noticed that sponge-colored small spots/dots/nicks on the black color are slowly appearing. It looks like the color is coming off, even though the seats are physically okay. Any ideas on this?
