Need tips on changing out control arm bushings

Post by sasjzl »

Hi all,

I am getting into the front end of my vastly improved 1996 960 project car and am wondering if anyone has any tips or do's and don'ts about replacing the two bushings on each side of the control arm.

Thanks very much,
Jim Lee

This is a straightforward job and the attached may help. '96 and '97 are the same.

Obviously safety is paramount so ensure the car is properly supported when you are working under it.
