94 940 turbo wagon oil smells like gas and stalls sometimes

I have a 1994 940 turbo wagon with a b230ft motor. The oil smells like gas and sometimes when I let off the gas it will idle so low it will stall out. I have recently had to replace the head and head gasket, airmass sensor, flame trap and vacuum lines. It has cost about 2000 dollars so far and I can't afford to spend much more to keep this car going. Any advice would be great.
