beeping from dash!?!?

I know I posted this somewhere before...but I have to revisit it since it's occurring more often.

We have had several different beep sounds emitted from the dash since we owned our used 2001 V70 T5 over the last few months...but there is one that is more common. My wife has been tuning them out but I lent the car to a friend today who said it beeped 3 times in a 20 minute ride home!

No CELs, no codes no other item to tell you something is up other then this random mid tone beep for a second or two while underway. Since I cannot explain the sound and you guys are going to ask me to describe it more...maybe we just go at this from a different angle.

What are the known beeps from the dash of this vehicle!?!?!?! And work our way backwards from there.

Does setting the seat memory cause a beep? As I think we have a quirky seat memory system?

i have the same thing going on in my 2003 s60...i would love to know what it is! it seems like sometimes my tripometer resets when i hear this random beep...

I find it hard to believe with this wealth of info and experience on these sites that nobody has a clue. Failures are usually trend oriented and others experience can at least have a healthy guess to the source...it's been embarrassing some of the guesses I've got on several sites!
