Please Help Identify This Part

Post by whistlepigger »

I finally got around to replacing the AC evaporator core on my 1999 Volvo V70 XC. I carefully bagged and labeled everything... but to my dismay, I found a part on the drivers side floor that I cannot identify. it's about a half inch long small cylinder. Here's a link to a pic:

Any idea where it goes?
Thanks

I have no clue - is it possible that someone dropped it on the floor before you started?

I have replaced the AC Evaporator a couple of weeks ago and havent seen this part. Or at least cant remember.
If everything works then I agree with Lee.. Maybe someone dropped it before you started.

But just in case, keep it somewhere...
