Recently I've noticed that when the car is idling when the AC kicks on, the engine idle will momentarily drop by about 250 rpm. This is pretty annoying because it causes the car to shudder a bit and just doesn't sound very good.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Once the compressor kicks in it puts a load on the engine causing the revs to drop, which is normal. There is an idle-up incorporated which will bump the revs up by 100-200 to compensate.
