Looks like I have a bit more radial play than I should in these turbos, I'm new to this though so im open to opinions. From what ive read, sometimes radial play is by design due to the bearings used. I think the second turbo has some slight wear from the compressor hitting the housing.... Ill post some pics this eve. There is no oil on the turbine side of the turbos and a teeny bit on the compressor side of turbo #1.
Has anybody done a DIY rebuild? any advise on where to buy the kit? Sending them off or replacing them is not going to happen, aint got the cash for that so i'll either have to rebuild these or run them till they explode.
