Engine Loosing Power after 10 minutes

2000 S40 with 114,433 miles looses power about

10 minutes after I start it.

Front end starts shaking and the engine doesn't want to go about 40MPH, even though engine sounds like it is running smoothly.

No Warning Lights illuminate either.

112,500 factory service in September 2010.

What could be the problem?
Is it worth investing in the repair?

Reviewed by Haynes manual last night... Started with the easiest possiblity this morning. It was a TYRE!!!
Repaired and road tested :)
