Hello guys,
I have a 1999 Volvo S70 non-turbo,
I was wondering if anyone had any idea to get a factory fog light kit for the car. I asked my Volvo dealer/service guy about it and he said its about 270$+ for a kit and to install it.
So, if anyone has any great ideas on what to do about fog-lights or the whereabouts on a factory kit I would really appreciate it Thanks!
Searching for Factory fog light kit.

FCPgroton sells good aftermarket lights at about $50 each but you're still going to need a dash switch and relay
(They may sell the relay, I don't know, the switch will have to be new (or used) Volvo)
You also need to buy the correct (for fog lights) bumper grills

My 98 didn't have fog lights from the factory. I chose to add them roughly 2 years ago. The full kit from the dealer actually runs closer to $220 and includes very good instructions. Personally, I would go that route and install them yourself. The instructions are very straight forward.

Hit up RobtheModd. He spent a few weeks on the sunbject of fog lights. I'm sure he can give you some decent advice about where to find them etc.

I recently submitted a request to Vands Auto Dismantlers out in CA that specializes in Volvo and Saab used parts. They quoted me about $100 for the two lights; I'm sure they can pull all the relays, etc for you too.

My 850 came with a set of T5 fog lights. The previous owner installed them but never got to wiring them. To bypass cost of the "special relay" and switch I pulled a standard relay from under the fuse box(not the expensive fog light relay) and a rear marker switch from a donor 850 at the pull yard.
The rear marker switch is essentially the same as the front light switch except for the wiring pins are off one position.
I pulled the switch illumination feed from the pre wired plug behind the dash. The rest of the wiring, the 12v key switched feed, ground, 12 v relay feed and the light feeds, I ran new. It looks and works like a stock setup.
Works great. Cost me about 6 bucks for the switch and relay from the pull yard and a few bucks in the wire and connectors.
They are not the brightest lights around but ....
