Volco S40 2.0d turbo
Hi, I was driving my car lastnight as I pulled off from a set of traffic lights I noticed that the turbo wasn't kicking in from 2000rpm. It hasn't made any strange noises or given any signs of packing up. I have a 54plate S40 2.0d. Anyone have any ideas?

With diesels the first suspicion with low performance is fuel filter or air filter. IF it comes on suddenly fuel filter is the more likely but in wet or snowy weather you can get an air filter that gets wetted and is very restrictive when wet.
After that it would be workshop visit time to see if there are fault codes stirred indicating the fuel computer has detected a problem and reduced power.
