Blower, heated seats and lights not working

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Blower, heated seats and lights not working

Post by Bski902 »

I just had a front left axel, inner tie rod and brake pads replaced on my 2000 s80. As I was leaving the shop, I noticed that the blower, heated seats and lights were not working. Any thoughts or experience with this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill

Check the fuses:

7 Heated front seats - left 15A
8 Heated front seats - right 15A
26 Control module - climate control blower 30A

Which lights are not working? Interior, headlight, low beam, brake ...
I think it's a mistake of the shop. While replacing the mentioned parts they made a short or cut/disconnect a wire, probbably by mistake without knowing but... I suggest you to come back there to correct that with no charge...
Good luck

Thank you very much for the response! I should have mentioned that I did already check all of the fuses. The mechanic is trying to help, but cannot seem to figure out the problem. I'm worried about cost, but would also like to stay warm. Any other advice?
