2006 S60 removing climate control panel in passenger compart

Post by normf »

I need to access the AC temp sensor in the passenger compartment on my 2006 S60 sedan. How do I remove the plastic cover? Does it just snap out? I'm obviously concerned about breaking it or damaging the surrounding interior trim. What kind of tool do you recommend?

Definitely get a bone tool to remove it. I believe it is just snapped in so you should be able to pull it apart.

lift the plastic cover around the shifter and push aside. You'll see 2 two torx screws at the bottom of the Climate Control panel.

Remove the screws and pull the CCM outwards.
