98 S70 Door Panel
98 S70 Door Panel
On my passenger door, the interior door panel has separated into two parts: the exposed interior vinyl part and the Buckminster Fuller backing through which you have to push the plastic interior trim clips to attach the panel to the metal outer door. Are the two pieces just glued together using some adhesive? Any recommendations for repair? Thanks.

I bet there is an S70/V70 door panel repair thread laying around here somewhere. You can glue it together and the clip holder black plastic pieces will also assuredly stay on door when you pull panel off and can be glued also. I'm sure there are manyh glues that will work. I have used 5 min epoxy, contact cement, and Gorilla Glue. Gorilla is the one I will not use again. It expands and bubble when drying (I used it for the first time on a door panel repair....).

Silicone works just fine
