SERIOUSLY!!!! I'm in need of abs control module
I'm so sick of the xxxxxx that goes on when the xxxx thing gets to acting up! The brake lamp comes on,spedo stops working, check engine light comes on, the car wont accelerate correctly, reverse doesn't engage and then the orange up arrow starts flashing. I pulled the codes it throws and they are all communications error codes and spedo sensor malfunction. Whats the best and cheapest rout to take care of this problem? I'm ready to drive the thing off in the river! The car with all the attitude is a 2000 S70 with 156,000 mi. Any and all who reply thank you in advance. I live in St.Louis,MO so if anyone has one or knows where to get one please do recommend. One last question; where is the module located? I have traction control does that matter?

Matty Moo (click me!) is a member here that rebuilds them and can hook you up with a rebuilt one for cheap. Shoot him an email, just mention that you have a 2000 with either TRACS or STC (it will say on the button on your dash). I have never heard of reverse freaking out because of an ABS module; that may or may not be something else as the root cause of that.
The module is just under the brake fluid reservoir. The first part of the procedure outlined here will describe how to remove it.
