1997 v40 2ltr 16valve automatic

hi to all again
can anyone please advise why the water temp keeps going hot and cold when driving usual slow driving is fine heater nice and hot but the minute you get on a decent bit of road and get to about 60 heater starts to cool down according to the temp it is about 50 c until you slow down then gets hot again
any help most welcome

Problems in the fan controller. Common issue with that car. Search for fan relay or fan controller. It caused many a V40 to overheat
