2013 V40 Automatic Rear View Mirror

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum. I'm a proud owner of a V40 II year 2013. I've bought this car some weeks ago. On my request the Volvo dealer offerd me to install an atomatic rear view mirror and I accepted this. But the mirror doesn't work. The Volvo Service told later that there is no way to activate the mirror.

In the car the harnes for the mirror are already installed by production. There is a 3-pin-plug with +12V, earth and another wire. But there shouldn't be a software that activates the mirror. It would only works together with automatic outer clap-on mirrors on left and right side - said the service.

Perhaps you have other experience an I will find a way to make the mirror working.
