diagram for 2006 s40 2.4i replace alternator belt and noise

Hello, I currently own a 2006 Volvo s40 2.4i with 109,000 miles in the US. I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the alternator belt or had a diagram so it can be replaced. I am new to Volvo's, really love the car but I believe the noise I hear is from a worn/old belt on the alternator, because I spray belt dressing on and seems to go away for a little bit. It could even be the alternator, but I am going to try the cheaper alternative. It seems to be a whistling noise as if the belt was wet but goes away when the belt is wet. Before I soaked the heck out the belt with belt dressing it used to make the noise idling and driving until I drove 30 minutes then would go away. Now it just makes the noise while idling. If anyone has any suggestions or tips, that would be great thank you.
