Locating the oil filter '04

I cannot seem to find the oil filter on my 2004 xc90, I thought it was on the passenger side, I have searched and searched all over the engine compartment and I just cannot seem to locate it! Does anyone seem to know where it is?

All except for the V8 and newest model years have the filter located in the passenger side front corner of the oil pan. It is inside the reusable black plastic housing.

Newest model years have it in the passenger side top of the oil pan (accessed from above - BMW/Mercedes style)
