trouble codes...94 850

Post by dear1700 »

ok..i seen what the codes mean on this site...but not what the "real" problem is. The codes of concern are:

A1) 1-3-4
A2) 2-3-1
A6) 2-4-1
A7) 1-2-2

Thanks for your Help :-)

Welcome to the site. That's a bit of a weird combination of codes. I'll be the first to say that I have no idea what the 1-3-4 on the transmission module means.
"134 Faulty load signal from ignition control module"

The 2-3-1 is almost certainly vacuum leak. Look over all your vacuum lines and replace where necessary; this causes the car to run overly rich and is robbing your gas mileage.

2-4-1 means that your EGR port near the throttle body is probably clogged.
The fix for that is here: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/egr-cleaning/

1-2-2 means your thermostat/coolant temp sensor are probably shot.

Hopefully someone else will know what that 1st one means. I'd suspect the throttle position sensor is tied to that code, but it has its own seperate code that would also be thrown on A2.

A learning experience is one of those things that says, "You know that thing you just did? Don't do that."
