01 V70 2.4T Won't Start has No Spark

Post by brandonbeach14 »

My V70 has the following codes P0245, P0445, P0448, P1655 and will not start. It has new plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil just changed, intake cleaned, new timing belt, accessory belt, and has fuel pressure. I did find three coil wires with copper exposed and have taped them with electrical tape. I think there was a short that caused all of this. I don't think I am getting any spark.
Is there a main fuse for the engine? Any other ideas? :?: :?: :?: Thanks

P0245 ECM-6800 Turbocharger (TC) control valve Signal too low. Permanent fault
P0445 ECM-4000 Evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve Signal too low. Permanent valvefault
P0448 ECM-4010 Leak diagnostic unit, valve Signal too low
p1655 CVVT Solenoid

Maybe you forgot to connect an electrical connector somewhere.
Like the turbo control valve or the purge valve.

All conections seemed to be connected. Is there an ignition module? Or can the wiring harness go bad? Most of the protective looming is no longer there. I think one or more of the bare wires caused a short in something, but no fuses are blown. The car ran fine prior to seeing the vare wires touching metal near the coils. Any other suggestions :?:

As it turns out there were a few more wires the had bare spots that needed taped. I pulled every fuse and found 2 for the ignition and PCV system that were blown, but tested good from the top. I then bought looming at O'Reilly's, removed all of the brittle pieces, and replaced it as well as what had already fallen off. All of the wires are protected again.
