I have an 05 S60 2.5T AWD with 81k. Is there a flame trap on these or other PCV system with replaceable parts? I have looked at some vendors and haven't seen anything like you would see for an 850 (my previous Volvos). Thanks!
I should add that the reason I ask is that last I was looking over this car (same car as in the "Turning into a Nightmare" thread) and found the PCV line from the crankcase that goes up by the oil fill and under the spark plug cover is broken off.

yes, there is. same setup as the 850.
That corrugated hose came in plastic in '04-'05 MY volvos(instead of rubber) and breaks off easily at the corrugated portions, heat and plastic don't mix well and leads to common breaks. Replace it with the updated rubber hose.

2.5T's would take a slightly different PCV system kit then most others, different breather box and tube set up. I can put together a kit for you if you like not to bad actually. Let me know if you would like me to piece one together for you, would need the VIN number to be sure on it though.
