Starting Problems in Hot (over 85 degree) weather

Post by nashvillestone »

Turn key and 1/4 crank only then stops. Less than 1-2 seconds them stops. Two, three or four key turns and so far I got it starting. Runs fine immediately after starting. Problem only in hot weather and not related to a/c . Does same thing on or off a/c. Replaced rpm sensor, starter, starting switch, pnp, immobilizer, keys........help I'm slowly building a new car.

When were the battery posts last cleaned?

Wow, that's a lot of repairs. Did you have your computer codes read first?

Agree with Jot, would have started with battery terminals/connection first, (just how old is it, seems like if you get 2 years out of one nowadays, you are lucky) and then least cost to most cost repairs.
