EDIT: my dumb error. Fuse is 15, not fourteen
After three or four days of car sitting battery will be dead. So dead, it cannot be re-charged. Jumping the car and car will start, no problem. 14VDC showing in digi meter with car running.
With car turned off, there is a draw of 150ma between the positive battery cable and battery positive post. Pulled fuses one at a time and re-insterted until fuse 15. Draw went away. When fuse pulled there was a click like a relay dropping. Re-insert fuse and draw is no longer there.
I purchased a third new battery to diagnose the above. Any thoughts on what might be the issue?
I have checked for glowing door lights at night and see nothing.
Thank you
bill

Fuse 14 is the ABS module. They don't go bad that often on a '95 but they do go bad.
They can't really be repaired like the later model modules but since they fail so seldom they are dirt cheap on eBay.

You need to look up a wiring diagram and see what fuse 15 runs. The lid of the fuse box should give a few clues.
Then remove the connector from each item until the draw stops. Need to check relays in that circuit as well as then can stick open.
Neil.

These P80's have a current draw. Typical for the earlier ones is 10-20 mA. Only stuff that should really draw is the radio which has a constant feed that stores the radio channels and the alarm system but that should be it. The later 99- can run as high as 40-45mA. Mine does but that is because it has an aftermarket alarm and immobilizer/remote start.
Like I mentioned, you need a wiring diagram and see what is on that fuse/circuit and then disconnect each item to find the culprit.
A 30mA draw would take 1-2 weeks to drain a battery, so if you have only a 30mA draw, there is I suggest a charging system issue, from the alternator to the starter and the wiring. Also check all the grounds a clean and unbroken.

Check your glove box light switch. They can get pushed back and not open the circuit when the door is closed.

I looked at an 850 handbook today and saw that as suggested above, the glove box light staying on is a usual suspect. Throw your cell phone in the glove box on video and close the door and leave for a few seconds and check.
You did not mention if it is a sedan or wagon. If it is a sedan, do the same phone trick with the trunk light. The wiring harness breaks at the LH hinge and can cause shorts, same as in a wagon on the LH tailgate hinge.
Neil.
