Windshield cowl

I need to remove the windshield cowl on my 06 xc90, need to check the CEM for water leakage. I did find directions here, Link. The two outer clips are the same but the other four do not have the center part that you push down to release the clip. Is anyone familiar with these type of clips and how to remove them?

If you take a pair of shifting pliers, grab the bottom of the pin in the bottom of the jaws, the top jaws just on the top of the plastic, not covering the hole and gently close the jaws, you should find the pin coming up, be careful not to bend the plastic pin. Once it is far enough out you can grab the top with the pliers and it should release. Oh! and mind your fingers :mrgreen:

This worked for me.
