2000 V70XC noisy fuel pump.

I have only 84000mi on this car, and the fuel pump has become very noisy.
I would like to change it out myself, but am daunted by the prospect of dropping the subframe and tank.
I found a great description on this site, where Snipercat cut an access hole under the seat, and replaced the pump from inside the car.
I am preparing to do this, but on going to the Volvoparts site, they seem to show TWO fuel pumps! a left and a right?
The noise seems to be coming from the passenger side of the tank (this is a left hand drive car)
Could anyone give me advice on this?
