1982 240 station wagon

Post by mlmmvm »

I was wondering if it was worth it to fix up a 1982 volvo 240 station wagon. The body and paint is in good shape. It only has 137,000 miles on it. I think so, but I know it can get expensive. Or, if anyone is intrested in buying it!

I'm interested in buying it, so I guess that means I think it's worth fixing. Ha!
Do you have any pictures? Where is it located?
Thanks

I am in Fredericksburg, VA. I will have to send you pictures at a later time. The body is in really good shape for a 1982. A few things wrong- windshield wipers will not come on, it is a little loud (maybe an exhaust or muffler issue), glove box won't open. I think if someone knew how to do this stuff, it would be a good deal. I bought the car 2 days ago. It just makes me anxious because I have two children and don't "know" the car yet. It is a four speed and the gearshift knob was off. I had a new windshield put in ($230.00). Like I said, it only has 137,000 miles on it. Let me know if you're still interested. Thanks!
