V70 tow hitches?

V70 tow hitches?

I'm thinking about getting a trailer hitch for my 1999 V70 to pull my stuff across country when I move in a month or so. Probably just rent a uhaul trailer (I don't have that much stuff) and save some money compared to a moving company.

I know nothing about tow hitches. I hope you do!

Is the tow hitch something I can order and install myself, or would I be better taking it in to a shop? Do I need an official volvo hitch setup, or are other ones as good/better?
Will I need to have some kind of electrical hookup for brake lights on the trailer?

What tow hitch is recommended on the V70XC?

I bought my hitch from http://www.etrailer.com . It was very easy to install, took about 20 minutes max. Not sure if it would be any different for an XC or not.
