All the sudden my 1997 850 GLT wont start and the dash lights stay on for about 3 minutes after removing the keys. The fuel and fuel relay is fine, I checked by depressing the valve under the blue cover on the fuel rail. I also there is no spark at the spark plug, but the ignition coil and distributor is in working condition. The car cranks but wont start. I'm thinking its something to do with the anti-theft system. I tried locking and unlocking the car five times but still would not start. Anyone experience a problem like this or have advise what to check.
Thanks

Sounds more like the electrical part of the ignition switch
may have reached "the end of it's broadcast day"...
The good news? Cheap part, easy swap.

Do you think the ignition switch can cause the OBD2 code reader port not to work also? I tried to read the check engine light code but got an error message. I know the code reader works because I tried it on my other Volvo. I also checked the #15 fuse and its fine too.
