Help

Post by 940 »

Hi im new on the forum, i just got a 940 and i have a few questions.
First of all i don't know nothing about volvo's and i am looking for some help. I want to know if there's any aftermarket products for this car for improving performance, this car is veryyyy slow (it's the non-turbo version).
I also want to add some rims to it, i don't know any brands that produce good looking wheels for that car, and also that fit. I also want to know if i can lower the car and what are the parts for doing it, if there's a sport suspension or some springs. Also if anyone knows the spec's of this car, like what's the weight, 0-100, and topspeed(The odometer is broken).
Thank's
Max

Hey i have a 1995 940 wagon, and i have done some aftermarket stuff to it but nothing huge yet. Anyway u can pretty much have a custom exhaust done from the collector pipe through to the tailpipe/muffler. Universal cold air intake with a filter is pretty easy, u might need to move around some stuff and remove the airbox but i did it. Bosche makes some performance plug wires that help a lot. Also there are many high performance ignition coils you could get. Is your car manual or auto? What year? And to make it go a lot faster u might have to spend a lot more than u want, but some little stuff is affordable. Any specific questions i'll be glad to try and help.
