Vacuum line at air filter 1998 S70- where does it go?

Post by Dovetail »

Hello all
I swapped out my ignition coil in the 1998 S70 as my wife had it stall intermittently and there was evidence ofwhite chalky corrosion on the ignition coil (although unable to see arcing in the night from it). I am not sure if the problem has gone away yet, but it seems to be driving pretty nice. In the process of swapping out the coil I knocked off the black vacuum hose from it's far end terminus (not the air box side). I can not seem to find where it terminates. So the two question I have are:
1 Where does the black vacuum hose lead to when it leaves the airbox?
2 What goes on the top air box port, the white vacuum line or the black one?
Thank you in advance for your help, and of course merry new year!
William
