No fuel is arriving at the engine end of the fuel line. I disconnected the fuel line behind the fuel pressure regulator. At first, I attached leads from the battery to the in-line fuel pump and got fuel gushing out of the line near the fuel pressure regulator. But none came up when I turned over the engine. So I changed the relay, the lone fuse near the power steering fluid tank, checked all the fuses in the regular fuse panel, replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter under the car, poured more gas into the tank, and charged up the battery. Yet, fuel now doesn't come out even when the battery cables are attached directly to the pump, or if I turn over the engine.
I am currently attempting to replace the in-tank fuel sender unit. That's another question under a separate cover. But I think the problem may be that I removed the main fuel pump and filter so many times that the fuel lime may have become pinched. How can I test it? How can I patch it? If necessary, how can I replace the whole fuel line?
