air cond on 850

I recentally had my air recharged at beginning of summer. I drove a long trip this weekend and kept hearing a whistle noise. Still have cool air but is this telling me something may be wrong?

The whistle noise could be the upper windshield trip that is poorly engineered and has a tendancey to come off.

got the same sound here.

once compressor on....you can here a whistle building up. I think it is the expansion valve.

In any case do you smell anything like the R134A leaking out..... ?

Do you smell something like ice freezing? i.e. smells like your household refrigerator.

No dont smell anything. Only other thing I saw was once (one time) I turned it on, you could see the air coming out of the vent.
