Dyno number contest!

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Dyno number contest!

Post by s70glt novice[Will] »

Hello, in the coming weeks i plan to dyno my car. I'm saving up the 100 bones to do it (dont laugh, im in highschool). Anyway, I thought it would be fun to A) see what other folk think my car produces and B) find out what my car really produces :D

Here are the specs;
98 s70 GLT
Intake is all stock. No FMIC (dont worry, i plan to...eventually)
OBX exhaust
ARD Green tune
16t turbo.
Silicon vacuum lines+IPD HD CBV, and TCV
My CEL is on, but after doing some research i believe it is because of my B+ cable deteriorating, nothing physically wrong.
Stage 0 of course.
I also have performance (8mm) ignition wires.

Guess my numbers! I think im at 240whp and 260wtq. Are these outlandish?

I will post dyno sheets of course...

That seems a little low, is it because of my neglect of the intake?

Parasitic driveline loss. If I could drive your S70, I'd have a much better guess :-).
